How does it work :








TEST BATTERY: if the battery voltage is above 3V the charging process begins automatically. If the battery voltage is lower than 3V, does not start any charging phase, the battery charger remains on standby.





MAXIMUM CURRENT: Charging with maximum current of 1A until the voltage reaches 13.5V.





CONSTANT CURRENT: Reload constant 0.6A, the battery more slowly reaches the maximum capacity does not overheat.





DECREASING CURRENT - FULL CHARGE: After reaching the full capacity (about 14.4 / 14.6V, depending on the status and capacity of the battery) the current decreases rapidly until the voltage reaches 14.7V.





CONTROL: The charger monitors the voltage does not drop below 13,7V.





MAINTENANCE PULSE: if the voltage drops below 13,7V the charger begins the pulsed maintenance, providing current pulses of about 0.2 - 0.4A to hold charge at 95-100%.







ADDITIONAL MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS:






MAINTAINING A CONSTANT CURRENT: if the voltage drops below 13.5 V the charger starts at a constant current to maintain 0.6A, exceeded 13.5 V starts the Pulse Maintaining up to 13,7V five hours and then return to STEP 6 . This step is activated only if the battery fails to maintain the maximum charge. It does not necessarily indicate a problem with the battery.





REACTIVATION CHARGE: if the previous step does not produce results and the voltage drops below 12V chargers with a maximum charging current of 1A until the voltage reaches 13.5V, it's just like if returned to Phase 2. This phase is activated only if the battery has problems.

The charger is not able to start charging if a 12V battery supplies a voltage less than 3V (deeply discharged battery).
